Guys and gals,
It appears to be raining poo lately.

Not only will my new TV not recognise any
Blue Ray hardware (even the PS3)
All items plugged into HDMI ports are "Undetected"

My Computer power supply's fan crapped out
so my computer will only run for about 15 minutes
before overheating and rapidly crashing.
I don't have the $$ for a new power supply right now.

Now my car is stalling out and has an air leak in one tire.
Grrr Grrr
I don't think it will be fixed and paid for in time
to do the Rennfest.

If anyone is going and is willing to drive, I will go with them.

Rennfest is going on right now!
The dates it's still going on are:
Sep 26-27
Oct 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, & 25.

Whats new..

Guys and Gals,
I'm at an impass.
From time to time I get people asking to join
and after they are members,
never come to devmeets, answer emails,
give input about local events,
etc..etc..
They ghost faster than a Southern Baptist on a nude beach.
I need to know if members are wanting
to keep Capitol-Deviants going.
People who DID come to past meets know that
90% of the time, there were
free magazines, books, cd's, art supplies etc
that I gave away as door prizes which I paid for out of pocket.
If we continue to get no feedback and participation
We may have to cancel the group.
With EastCoastDeviants not that active,
we are all that's left.

I'll try to set up a meet on a weekend
at the National Gallery of Art.
IT'S FREE...
and close to 2 different Metro stops.

Whats new..

I was a bit upset
when I heard Otakon was happening this weekend
and I went to the website,
they only posted what a ticket would be for 3 days ($65!)
I looked for what it would cost for one day
Nothing was posted
So in protest, they can keep their Otakon.
I'll be at the double header
Freedom and DC United tonight (Sat)
Love to watch the ladies play soccer.

I will be going to Chicago
for a medical education conference from
24-27 June
If I don't respond for a short time
as we draw closer to the AT&T National,
I will respond as soon as I get back.

I have a total of 4 tickets to see the
AT&T National hosted by Tiger Woods
at the Congressional Country Club
Who wants to go?
Tickets are good for any one day from 30 Jun - 5 July.
The actual tour days are 2-5 July.
30 Jun - 1 July are practice days and ceremonies, etc.
There are no cameras of any kind allowed on tour days
(even cell phones)

The tickets are a military bonus
but we can bring anyone we want.
Although I would like to attend the opening ceremony on 1 July,
I'm pretty sure I can't get off work.
I WILL be able to go anywhere from 2-5 July.
I plan to go the 2nd since that will be opening day.
You cannot take a ticket and go without a military escort
Send me a message if you want to go and we can work it out.
