Tenley at the best buy is the only close one (red line) because I live about 6 blocks from M street, Georgetown. The Tenley one isn't even that close to my house but it's the first one along the way.

Normally the meets are for local artists to network and just hang out but I try to have a dinner and try to get involved in the comunity. Like this meet is for the Christmas card program held by . They have to be mailed into DA before the 17th so we are having the final meet the 8th. All people have to do is either create their own cards or buy cards and sign them. Once they give them to me, I will mail them into DA. All you have to do is come to one meet and then you know people haha. Usually, DAdmin members show up and it's good to get to know them face to face.

I'm not excluding the younger crowd entirely. If someone has an account with no gallery (Lurker) or is 14 yrs old and would probably need a gaurdian, I'm trying to avoid them for now. If someone 17 has made an attempt at a regular gallery, I invited them.
Getting the groups together might work. I'll keep in touch.

Ah, I see. Well I dont' see why you're excluding the younger people. I myself just turned 19 in May but I've been serious about my art for a while. I don't know if I'll be able to come yet. I have a TON of doctor appointments and work going on around the end of sept to mid october but I'd try and be there just to say hi to everyone. :3 I started a club *EastCoastDeviants and we're planning a big devmeet for October-November. We should be affiliates! We're with the nyxmetro group too.

It should be the red line. thru bethesda and down to the capitol/pentagon. The first meeting will be so we can eat and hang out. The mall would be like meeting in a food court. That's ok for 15-18 yr olds but I'm trying to concentrate on keeping it more casual/dinner style. This is the Innaugural meeting so no one really knows anyone yet. The more relaxed the meeting place, the better for now.
